Refund Policy
Last updated October 11, 2026
You pay for a scan that works. If one doesn't because of something on our side, you get your money back without asking.
Automatic refunds
We refund these automatically, in full, and email you when we do:
- A deep scan whose AI review can't finish. You get the complete quick-scan report (everything the automated checks found) and a full refund. We never charge for a partly finished review.
- A scan that fails on our side. If a scan stops because of an error in SetRepo, before or after the review, whatever paid for it is returned.
- A scan that stops unexpectedly. If a scan stalls on our servers (for example, during a restart), we mark it as failed and refund it. You can run it again.
- A repository that turns out too large to scan after you've paid.
- A duplicate payment, such as paying for the same scan in two browser tabs.
"Whatever paid for it" means: a card payment is refunded to your card; a scan from your subscription allowance goes back into your allowance; a scan credit is returned; a free rescan can be used again.
Subscriptions
- You can cancel at any time from Manage subscription on the Account page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Each monthly allowance starts fresh at the start of every cycle (yearly plans included). Unused scans don't carry over.
- If you switch to a new subscription that replaces your current one, the unused time on the old one is credited to you.
- We don't automatically refund the current period when you cancel.
Refunds on request
If something else went wrong (a scan you didn't mean to start, a report that didn't help, a charge you don't recognize), email support@setrepo.com with the scan or payment and what happened. We'll look at every request and can refund any payment.
How refunds reach you
Card refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. They usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Free scans are never charged, so there's nothing to refund.
